Peter L. Breton graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1974.  While serving as a captain in the Army, he earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine University.  He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, cum laude, in 1983, where he served on the editorial board of the international law journal Lawyer of the Americas.

Mr. Breton is board certified in Real Estate Law by The Florida Bar and has a diverse practice in the areas of real estate law, zoning and land use law, environmental permitting, riparian rights, condominium and association law, and special taxing district law.

Mr. Breton previously served as corporate counsel for several major community development firms.  He is admitted to The Florida Bar and is a member of the Environmental and Land Use Law and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Sections.  He is also an associate member of the Environmental Law Institute and a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association.  Mr. Breton is general counsel to the Florida Inland Navigation District and the Cypress Grove Community Development District.
