Mr. Gaskell received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1991. He graduated with honors in 1997 from Tulane Law School where he served as Managing Editor of the Tulane Law Review and was honored with the Corpus Juris Secundum Award for attaining the highest grade in Civil Procedure, in addition to being the recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for attaining the highest grade in Constitutional Law.

Mr. Gaskell served as an assistant attorney general for the State of Texas and staff attorney for the U.S. District Court in New Orleans prior to going into private practice in 2001. His practice areas include commercial litigation, business torts, toxic exposure cases, insurance bad faith and investor loss.

Mr. Gaskell is admitted to practice in Florida, Louisiana and Texas.
