Marta Suarez-Murias received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame with high honors in 1975. She received her law degree from Florida State University with honors in 1978.

Admitted to the Florida Bar in 1978, Ms. Suarez-Murias practices in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, including creditor’s rights and bankruptcy litigation.

Ms. Suarez-Murias previously served as staff counsel to the Florida Public Service Commission and was an Assistant State Attorney for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit. She is a member of The Florida Bar, the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, the Palm Beach County Bar Association and the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida.
